I’m just about to start week 4 run 1 and want to know if there’s a way of tracking how far I’m going?

Is there a feature on the C25K app? Or can I run another app in the background somehow?

I just tried running the Nike Running Club in the background and that works. It has distance. So I was running C25k, Spotify and NikeRC.

I use Strava which is pretty good at tracking distance and the time it takes. There's a paid version but I find the free version has everything I need.

I use runkeeper, it runs well with C25K and Spotify, although it gives you updates every 5 minutes, I'm sure you can turn it off if you don't like it. I've also found that Google fit, as long as you don't track the workout(!) gives pretty much the same results as runkeeper for distance and pace. Runkeeper gives you more info though, even the free version.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

There is a list of tracking apps known to work with the C25k app in the guide.

Enjoy your journey.
