Struggle to build up speed

I done week 6 2nd week I've done it and done the 25 minute run and I only covered a mile and half my aim is to hear the words walk now well done you've completed week 6 lol but for some reason I need to build up speed but I also need to complete the run

C25k is duration based.

You do not need to hit any distance or speed targets.

You are doing great.

I’m about the same pace as you! Feel I need to cover more distance but learning to keep the pace slow to finish the time and not kill my self in the process! Good luck with wk7!

C25K is not about pace. It is about endurance. It makes no difference if you run slower than you walk, The point is to run continuously. You can work on pace with intervals but first you need to get to the end of the course. A run is a run regardless of pace and distance. You are faster than all those that are still on the couch. You'r doing great, keep it up.
