Got up and did my run 3 today, which I should have done yesterday but got too sore on my long walk (see previous post).
I am an idiot for two reasons, one - I didn't stretch before this one, and two - I thought I was on my final run so went all out and then found out I had one more run to do so had to go again haha.
I also worked myself up about being lazy and sleeping in and knowing that I had to get up at 7am for my next run so I didn't sleep very well. This meant I woke up all worked up about going for the run but also sleepy and not wanting to get up. A vicious cycle of sleep and anxiety.
The run itself was okay - I've attached my pace which is quite interesting -you can see where I just straight up sat down at one point because I couldn't keep up so that was not good. I think I will repeat each week until I can do a full round without stopping or trying to finish a run early. That's the goal.

Our heads can be more problematic than our legs or lungs! 'The run itself was OK' 😀. Find yourself a positive mantra and beat those gremlins into submission. Try going a little slower next time if you feel it was genuinely too much. Remember, it's progressive so the runs aren't expected to be 'easy' in the early stages, but they should be 'doable' once you find your pace, however slow that might seem. Good luck, you can do this 😊
