Cheerio week 4 👋

Completed week 4 today. The progress over the last 4 weeks has been incredible. I never thought I'd enjoy running, but I'm loving it. For anybody just starting out on week one, believe in the programme because I can confirm that sticking to it really works. Today I ran for 3.1km (not including the walking time) with an average km time of 5.15. I'm really happy with those numbers as a novice runner. Roll on week 5!

Isn’t it a great feeling! To actually enjoy the process is a blessing. Many of us start this programme with trepidation and suddenly you realise that you actually enjoy it. I’m on W7R2 and I feel more alive than I have felt in years. I look forward to run day even though it’s every other day. I was actually really concerned when I got up yesterday morning (rest day) and my right Achilles was popping because I thought it was something that would stop me running for a while but a bit of research online and it just needed a bit of stretching out. Today is run day and it’s raining outside but I feel good and the Achilles is fine so everything to be happy about.

Congratulations on completing W4 and enjoy the rest of the programme. I’m sure you will.
