I have finally treated myself to a pair of proper running trainers, I think I can justify them as I completed week 9 run 1 today, I’m very excited! Aren’t they pretty 😀

You can't look at that colour without thinking of blue sky and fresh air, can't wait to wear my trainers out and get a new pair. 2 more runs then? Great feeling isn't it!

It’s a wonderful feeling, and I can’t wait to put these trainers on, they definitely remind me of spring xx

Hey! What have you been running in to date? I have only just started my C25K journey but have knee and toe soreness and it's highly likely my shoes. Reviews are a mindfield though and without being able to go and see an expert, I am guessing at what shoe I should purchase.

Any advice greatly appreciated :)

I have been running in sketchers, probably not the best shoe but I never imagined I would stick to the programme and didn’t want to spend a lot of money when I bought them.

I am definitely not qualified to advise on shoes, but what I have done is read every article about buying shoes I could find, a few of the running websites have “get started” tools and I have worked my way through them. Also last week I had the start of plantar fasciitis in my foot and I have done a bit of research on what I need to wear to help stop that. I haven’t spent lots of money on these shoes but enough to make them an expensive purchase in my budget. I hope I have made the right decision and if they last until we are out of lockdown I can then maybe get my gait analysed.

Good luck, I know it’s minefield navigating the reviews xxx

They are super shoes and will obviously made you run so much faster (and happier). Have fun and well done.
