Well done.
If you want to know what W5 has in store this post breaks it all down healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Don't look if you don't want to know.
Trust the plan.......it works.

I-T beat me to it, as Ray Stevens sang in the song The Streak: "Don't look Ethel!" I used to be a lookerer-aheaderer think knowing what was coming up would allow me to prepare myself, which should be better. It didn't, for me it made things worse. As soon as I started the first longer run I'd be basically worrying about completing the distance (time), often finishing shorter that what I'd run the previous week. I stopped C25K having just scraped once into W4 in December and have re-started from scratch again. I now really concentrate on keeping my pace very slow and have put 100% trust in Laura because I know that she won't ask me to do anything that she knows I'm not capable of. I completely proved this to myself on Wednesday morning when I went out for W5 R1, I had no idea what it consisted of (but realised it would be different to W4) until Laura calmly explained to me what was involved as I walked away from home. As soon as she said "you can do this" I replied, "yes I can" and I did. Trust the plan, run slowly (and then slow down some more), if necessary find yourself something distracting to listen to (music doesn't work for me so I listen to comedy programmes), and you will be fine, just you see...
Thank you - I’ll post on here how week 5 goes - I’ve done it before and I know it’s a big jump. However I know that as long as I don’t miss any sessions and I jog real slow I’ll get through it. I’m nearly 55 and it not as easy as it used to be. I’m not giving up and I hope I’ll still be running into my sixties 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
