So today I did week 2 run 1. It was hard I won’t lie as I’m a total newbie but I got through it. Only problem I’m having from the start is the muscle in my foot leading to my right leg. It’s hurts each time I fast walk and run. I thought it would be fine by week 2 but it’s still really hurting. Fine once I get home etc but kills when running. Is this normal ?

Well done on your run! 👏👏👏 The programme does feel hard, but with every run you will be getting fitter. 👍
I would say any kind of pain when running/fast walking is definitely not normal. Are you wearing good running shoes? I would seek the advice of a medical professional - a sports physio would be best, but failing that your GP should be able to isolate the problem. Good luck. 🤞
Congrats and getting through the pain barrier and completing the run. As I don’t know ur back story but can only assume just like me when I first started out, that ur not used to running regularly. When I first started, I was getting little niggles of pain and it was getting really frustrating. However I refused to give up as I knew that the more I did, the stronger and more used to running my muscles would get. After advice from others, I invested in some proper running shoes and that made a massive difference for me. Again, after about 6 weeks, I encountered hip pain. But being as I was so determined to continue and not give in, I booked myself in with a sports physio and have not looked back since. I’ve completed and graduated the couch to 5k app and now regularly run 3-4 times a week. What I’d say is stick with it if possible to still run. If it’s a little pain give it time to rest. There’s nowhere it says u have to complete it in 9 weeks. Nor does it state u can’t go over a previously completed week. Go at ur pace. If the pain gets worse, I’d suggest some physio to see where the pain is, what is causing it, and what u can do to rectify it. Hope this helps and good luck 👍🏻
