Did run 2 of week 4 on Friday night. Felt really good. The dog isnt enjoying it much (she hates traffic) and actually lunged at a car on Friday (she's a rescue collie who wants to herd๐) so I am sticking to quieter roads and going a little later in the evening. For the first time I actually forgot I was running for a bit as I had some planning to do for my work and just did it out loud. Neighbours must of thought I'd lost the plot talking to myself ๐ but it really helped!
Amazed I'm still going๐๐: Did run 2 of week... - Couch to 5K
Amazed I'm still going๐๐

Try to ... enjoy it? It shouldnโt be a pencilled in slot in your daily dairy
I'm not a natural runner, in fact it would always be right up there on my list of things I would rather never do, but I am determined to improve my fitness and I want to challenge myself to finish something I would normally abandon halfway through. I am starting to look forward to going out for the run but yes, it is still a date in my diary. I cant imagine ever voluntarily going out for a run. Maybe that will come, I just dont know.

Noooo ! Donโt herd cars, dog ! Is there a forest walk or something similar near you that might be safer ?
Unfortunately the only time I can run is in the evening when it's dark so can run in Woods plus it's been a very wet winter and the ground it much too muddy at the moment. Plus I am dog trainer and my dog needs to learn NOT to lunge at cars, so it's a good way to desensitized her. We will both conquer our respective challenges!
