I was on week 2 r 1 last Monday when I felt a bit of a sore leg. Nothing major and enjoyed and finished the run no issue. The next day I couldn't walk well with a very painful leg. The area is on the inside of my leg just below the knee. It is very tender to touch and is somewhat swollen. One week on and I can still barely walk without pain. Have been icing and elevating and no improvement at all. It is so painful that without Ibuprofen i am hobbling very badly. Is this not.ak for an injury to take this long to show any improvement? I know at this stage I probably need to see a doctor, just curious if this has happened to anyone. I'm so annoyed as was really trying to get Fit and was enjoying it!!!

Depends on the nature of the injury - but yes, some injuries can take a while to heal... however, as you have had swelling for some time, please do see a GP ASAP. Or go to a walk-in clinic if you cannot get a quick appointment, okay?
