Cool downs

Hi

I have just finished week one and have had a little muscle pull making me think I need a better cool down that the 5 min walk. Has anyone found any stretches that are particularly effective?

Thanks

If you read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you will find links to stretches.

Stretching immediately after every run, while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow.

Check out the link above for stretching. It will really help. Maybe go a little slower too.

Have a couple of rest days now that you're at the end of week one and see how you feel.
