It does get easier

So, today I really struggled with motivation to go out. The weather's not great, and I was feeling really down, but then a friend told me to go, and said I'd be glad when I get home, and he was right. I have now survived my second run of my first week and do feel better for it. I managed most of the 60 second runs without checking my phone to see how much longer I would have to run for, and on the five minute cool down I realised I had travelled slightly further than the first time. There are still the usual muscular aches related to taking up exercise but I suppose that's to be expected

Congratulations on starting C25K, just take all the runs slowly, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, it does gradually get easier, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, good luck, onwards and upwards to run 3 of week 1 👍😊🏃🏾
