Was very different from 5.3 as I ran that fairly easily - I think the breaks make it harder. However I’m not out of breath and it’s another fine autumn afternoon in Hove!
Wore my buff again so breathed through my mouth all the way - my nose always seems blocked.
Still the weight is not moving so I really need to be addressing my diet so that’s my next focus.

Yes - that’s the view from the bench at the end of my run. I’m actually impatient to get to 6.3 as I want start seeing some difference in my physiology (?).
Well done! It’s surprising how it is compared to the 20 mins none stop isn’t it? That’s a great view to run along side......And you and me both re food 😊
Crikey! Thank you, you’re right! I really used to struggle getting out there. Now it’s much easier and I hardly break a sweat. Suppose I found my pace and just have to keep building on distance.
I kick off W2 tomorrow so I’m very interested to see what it’s like to transition to a slightly different run. I can’t wait to be a few weeks in and see how I cope with actual multiple minutes of running 😃
Well done. I know I've posted this somewhere here previously, but you can't outrun your diet (unfortunately, or I'd be Kate Moss by now 😔). The received wisdom is 20% exercise and 80% diet. I don't know how accurate that is.
I worked really hard to lose nearly 3 stone before I started running, and what I do find is that exercise has helped me to maintain a healthy weight. No more yo yo dieting.
