Wondering?

Hi I’m on wk 7 so 25 minute runs. Because of the weather and dark nights etc I can’t always get out and do my run. The app says not to run two days on the run, but has anyone done this? I’m hoping to do today and tomorrow in the daylight. TIA

Nope! The rest days are non-negotiable. You absolutely should not run consecutive days.

The usual recommendation is not for at least a year. I still don't do consecutive days.

Your body, muscles especially need that time to repair the micro tears that are created during each session. If you skip this you could really do damage and set yourself back. It's just not worth the risk.

I do understand the frustration though, especially at the moment with this awful weather! Nothing stopping a good walk or a cycle or a swim though 👍🏻😉

You are doing great 👍 spread out your runs and look at diet for weight loss, have you taken measurements- some on here have reported that although weight hasn’t changed inches have. Good luck

Dump the scales hold onto the tape measure it’s tge one which tells you the clothes to buy. Have faith, love yourself, live happy
