Advice needed on lights / reflective bands for running in the dark.

I only started running in April of this year, so I have yet to experience running in the dark. I have no intention of running alone when it's dark. But I will still be running with my group at 6pm each week.

The run leader has recommended buying reflective strips / chest lights for group running times. I've looked on different websites like Amazon, Sports Direct and Decathlon. But there's so much choice and very varying reviews!

Can anyone please recommend anything? I'd rather have something like reflective armbands as opposed to any that requires batteries. And I know with chest lights, batteries are obviously reguired! But I'd rather have rechargeable lights or certainly a replaceable battery that lasts long and can be easily and cheaply replaced.

But a high viz running jacket with reflective strips. Wind and water proof for winter running.

I ended up buying a light on a head band. Looked for ages but it works really well. Looks a bit daft but it’s brilliant

I bought flashing wrist/ankle bands and a flashing belt and they were great on my early morning run this week. I also have a personal alarm that I carry with me
