9 weeks ago I tried running before I trying C25k. I could only run for 20 sec and then I had to stop and catch up on my breath. Now I am able to run for 5k <32 mins.

This programme might be hard but its doable. Find every excuse and reason to run on your run days and ignore any reasons your brain comes up with to avoid the run.

My aim was just to run and I never focused on (as a primary aim) to ru fast etc. Just run and follow the programme (C25K). As long as you run , your results will follow.

Lastly I want to thank for all the post I read on this platform to learn and apply other runner experiences and I endeavour to do the same. This community is amazing and encouraging

Thanks you.

Brilliant achievement and almost the 5k=30 mins which is mightily impressive to those of us chugging along for 30 mins to get to 4K only ( or less!) .

Well done, your post has inspired me to carry on!

I started 3 weeks ago but after 2 weeks I went on holiday and I was dreading restarting.

Repeated week 2 and was relieved that it wasn't too bad.

I really need to get my 63yr old lardy a..e into gear and prove to myself that it's never too late and I can do this!!
