Fit bit etc

Hi, I have noticed a few people saying their fit bit records the time taken for each km. what fit bit do people use for this please?

I use a Garmin forerunner 35, does everything I need and under £100. The 235 is excellent too.

You can record your time and distance for free using a mobile app, any of the following, Strava, runkeeper, mapmyrun, Runtastic.

If you don’t want to spend heaps of money just yet, you’re better off tracking using phone.

I have a charge 2. Actually getting that instigated the whole c25k thing, counts your steps obvs and then when you stick it on run it will tell you how long each km takes and give you loads of useful information.

If you don't want to fork out just yet for a fit bit, have a look at some free running apps that more or less do the same thing from your phone. I use mapmyrun and I also have the Nike running app but prefer mapmyrun to the Nike one.

My fitbit flex 2 doesn't do that so I use mapmyrun free app along side it. That way my fitbit is still recording my steps/run time but mapmyrun is recording my distance and cuts into my music to tell me each time I reach the next 1k and the time I'm at so far. Great that the 2 apps and my music will all work at once too 😁
