Week 5 Run 2 - Slow and steady

So it’s taken me longer than I thought to get here. Illness, laziness and lots of other excuses set me back, or rather paused progress.

I’m back on it now though and managed 2 weeks keeping the Monday, Wednesday, Friday routine.

It’s been painful and realised I really need to do a stretch before running, the five minute warm up walk is not enough and I was getting a lot of calf pain half way through. Today with a stretch though that has gone. 8 minutes jog, 5 minute walk, 8 minutes jog and winner!

Took a sneak peak at the next run though and eeeekk. Friday is going to be tough not sure how I’ll get through that. With very loud music and singing to myself I’m sure.
