I’ve done it!

Back at the beginning of March, a few of us started out on this journey of C25K. It was cold and dark, we had torches and could barely see the uneven paths in our village. We struggled with jogging for 60 seconds and thought what on earth have we let ourselves in for.

Well tonight, in the cold and damp, minus the torches, four of us completed the last run and actually carried on for 35 minutes running. We didn’t quite manage the full 5k (4.81k running but 5.1k including warm up walk) but we’ve done it! I can now call myself a graduate (it says so on the app so it must be true!).

Two in a row??? Not a great idea at this early stage of your running..:(

Just take the obligatory day's rest.. non impact exercise if you have lots of energy is by far the best plan.

That 5K running will come much faster without injury :)

I wouldn’t usually but I can’t go again till Wednesday and don’t want to lose momentum.

You won't..but a hidden injury could lay you off for much longer..believe me..if you feel you must go..and it is your choice.. the make it a short slow run..a recovery run if you like from your last one..:)

Thank you, I will definitely be careful, I don’t want to undo all the hard work of getting to this point.
