The Last Interval Run

So, week 6, run 2 in the bag (it still counts if I had to stop for 10 seconds to tie my lace about a minute into the second run, right?). Now on to the "endurance" runs. I know I did the 20 minute run at the end of week 5 but 25 minutes seems like another order of magnitude altogether.

I hope the weather is kind toe the first few runs...

You’ll be fine! Just go nice and slow - the aim is the duration not the pace of the distance. Good luck & hope you enjoy!!

You can do it, you ran for 20 minutes on W5R3, run 3 of week 6 is only 5 minutes longer, just take it slowly like you did for run 3 of week 5, perhaps a little slower, good luck.

It seems like a massive leap but your body is ready, you already know how rewarding it is to push on and make the target. Don’t doubt yourself and take it slowly. You are going to feel so good when you manage it, totally worth it.
