If you are running 6k then you are not working your way back through C25k, which is actually a very good way to safely build your stamina back up, while keeping injury risk minimal.
You might find this guide to post C25k running beneficial healthunlocked.com/couchto5... as it explains that running hard and fast (ie at a pace at which you cannot breathe fully and deeply) is the mark of an inexperienced runner, so slow down for 75-80% of your running to build stamina.
Just because you ran a few months ago does not mean that you can pick up where you left off, otherwise your injury risk is sky high. Build yourself up. Slow and steady is the watchword on this forum and that applies to all runners, of all experiences. Your body needs to be conditioned to the demands you are going to make of it......otherwise it breaks.

If you’re running 6k you don’t need the programme 😂. If you’re looking to build running legs and aerobic capacity, slow down and follow the plan... you’re never to good to run some intervals!
You now have about 70k virtual running buddies. Maybe your local parkrun could offer you one that will be visible as you run... and it’s a good place to meet people from here too... I don’t know where you are, but there’s a few heading to a parkrun in south Manchester on the 23rd
