So thank you all for your support. Trust me I was going so slow I could have gone backwards BUT I was absolutely knackered and I DID IT. I realised that I was stupidly going uphill. So today I changed my route completely and it was flat and so much better. Still very hard but better Day off tomorrow ( thank heaven) my hips hurt ☹️.
I’m gonna keep doing week 1day 1 again until I’m happy with myself and feel more able to do day 2. I shall sleep 💤 well tonight 😊
Great result. No pretending it is not easy - but it is achievable. I have just started W6 and prior to this had not run since i was at school. Slow and steady and enjoy your successes - even after a hard run once completed the sense of achievement is worth it. Good luck
You know run 2 is the same as run 1 in week 1? So if you completed run 1 move on to run 2 and then 3. You'll find that it does get easier by the end of the week. If you can complete all the walks and runs then you are right to redo it. Make sure you hydrate and always have a rest day and you'll be grand!
