How to schedule runs? W2R3

Hi all, may seem like a daft question but I'm just about to do W2R3 and I just wondered, how does everybody else schedule their runs? I'm currently running every other day which leaves 2 days rest before the next week. Is it ok to do the 2 day rest midweek, or will that make the next week harder? Would be great to know other people's running schedules!

Well done and you just organise the runs to suit you and your lifestyle... as long as you have at least one rest day between runs you are fine;)

Life.. and weather gets in the way sometimes..I usually run Sunday... Tuesday and Friday... but currently running Monday.. Thursday and Saturday!

This is your C25K...you do it your way :)

Welcome to the forum.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Fit your runs as suits you, as long as you observe the rest days.

It takes a couple of weeks to lose discernible condition, so don't worry about extra rest days.

Enjoy your journey.

I do my third run of each week as a park run and then walk the remainer (with perhaps a little jog to the finish if I feel capable). The other two, I fit in during the week whenever I can managed it... my schedule is a bit variable so sometimes it's early mornings, other times evenings. But always a rest day in between!

As long as there’s a rest day you’re fine... you could run a six day week, you can stay 7 and put the 2 tests anywhere you liked, you could go to an 8 day week and have a triple rest day... it wouldn’t make any difference. I try to run every other day... but I do sometimes like a few days off.

Just run when it suits you as long as you have a rest day In Between

So far, I managed to run Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning and do a 20 minutes body weight excercise routine (push ups, squats, sit-ups etc.) Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. If weather and other commitments permit, I aim towards one long walk (15 to 20 km) or a 2 hr bike ride on the weekends. About five years ago I managed to stick to a similar routine for a year and felt the best in my life, do I hope it will come again.
