Am on w7 25 mins but have had a week off due ti illness. Should I resume at 25 or go back ti 20? Thanks

Hi Grotmeister, as I understand it, you don't lose for fitness for 2 weeks after your last work out. give 25 mins a go, see how you feel, you should be ok :)

OK resume week 7, if you are off for more than a fortnight then it's better to back a couple of weeks but as you have only been off a week it is OK to continue.

A week off means you’ll be stronger than at the start of your last run still... I’d carry on.

Try 25, if its too difficult, stop at 20, simples👍

Carry on from where you were. If it’s too much, go back to last week for a run, then continue.

The most important thing is to be sure you’re properly over your illness. Don’t run at all unless you’re fully recovered but if you’re sure the illness has well and truly gone then just pick up where you left off: you don’t lose much condition in a week and even elite runners deliberately include a non running week a couple of times a year.
