Week 4 run 1: the good, the bad & the ugly...

So, for the good: I did it, woop!

The bad: That last 5 min jog was the first time in this programme I've felt like stopping and walking, but then 'Don't Stop Believing' came on my playlist and I pushed through - thanks Journey! The power of music.

The ugly: I've finally realised that I need to see a physio. The pain in my lower left leg is definitely not beginners running pain anymore. Session booked for Tuesday morning :(

Well done for doing that run, you are doing so great! I hope to be reaching that run later this week ... and sorry that you’ve got pain in your leg but hopefully the physio will be a massive help and get that sorted for you! Wishing you loads of luck with your appointment. I completely identify as I have tendon issues with my feet (of all things when running!) and it is so important not to ignore pain when our bodies are trying to tell us something. Keep us posted how things go with physio!
