Was planning to just see how it was after my last attempt was thwarted by asthma. I got a new inhaler yesterday which may have helped along with slowing down a lot - 6:37 average compared to 6:10 on run 2. I was aiming for twenty minutes and build back up again after ten mins on the treadmill yesterday, however I felt ok, I usually feel happier once I pass 20 min mark. After the finish I carried on with phone in hand to track when I hit 5km.
Still feel a bit wheezy but so much better. Also a stitch in the rib from ten mins onwards. So relieved to have made it even if it was the sloweest attempt. Thanks for all the support along the way.

Nothing wrong with a 6:37 average, that’s a good pace. Congratulations and very well done. It’s a great feeling isn’t it. Many start and many fail, but you’ve done it. Safe and happy running.
