Back to work tomorrow after a 5 week break (health not pleasure) & not sure when to do my runs??!

Been running 9/10ish am & now

have the choice of 6.30am or 6.30pm. What does everyone think??

I would do it early just so I know I have done it.

Running after work has never been good for me. A pre work run sets you up for the day.

I don't know if this will annoy or inspire you - morning run.

I find I have more energy for work and ready from the start. No need for a morning coffee to wake me up 😸

Some people like to run on an empty stomach.

I have a tiny bite to eat. A few glugs of water. Then a more substantial breakfast after post run stretching.

Try both and see what works for you!

Personally I prefer evening runs as I can get rid of the stresses of the day but I do have to be quite self disciplined to get myself out the door sometimes!

I guess it’ll be trial and error :)
