A quick post this morning... I'm absolutely buzzing đ€Ą
I completed my W5R3 20 minute run at 6am and I still can't quite believe it!
I took it nice and steady and used one of the Nike 20 minute guided runs 'Go With Dina' alongside the C25k app, as recommended by UnfitNoMore (cheers!đ»). It all went perfectly. it was a pleasant 12 degrees when I got outside, no aches in my right leg, everything just worked out for me today. I thoroughly enjoyed the run, the audio commentary made me feel happy and upbeat and I had plenty of gas left in the tank to give it a good final push for the last two minutes. I'm so happy! what an amazing programme this is. The changes I've experienced over the past few weeks have been incredible - a huge thanks to all involved.
The previous two runs this week also went fairly well. However, i did experience some issues with my right leg. I changed my trainers over for the third run and am planning to visit my local running shop and get a Gait analysis and hopefully some new trainers this weekend... if all goes to plan.
20 minute run... chuffed to bits!
