IC is an abbreviation for injury couch. It is a term used for anyone who can not run for medical reasons.

Yeah, the place I put myself in through stupidity early on this plan. Welcome to the injury couch UNM, now read the bit about not running on rest days again you idiot.
The Injury Couch is where none us want to be, but is sometimes essential after an injury.
No definitely don't want to be on the Injury Couch ... so rest days, stretching and any cross training is essential and not over doing it will keep you fit and healthy and away from the IC
