W3 R1 BIZARRE KNEE PAIN ADVICE

Hi folks, tried a second attempt at W1 R1 this morning but had to cut out 120 seconds of running and fast walk it instead. Very pleased with the way things are going as when I started on W1 I couldn't breathe after 130 seconds and now I'm not really too out of breath when finishing. The problem I have now is that for about the last 10 years I have suffered from extremely bad knee joint pain constantly but now it has gone completely apart from only getting it towards the end of the run and trust me its serious pain and not aches as I've learnt the difference from you kind people since i started. Now from when the pain starts at the and after resting for an hour it goes totally. So the running is obviously making them better but just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing? I've read and watched everything I can and think I have a quite good routine and technique going. Thanks people 🙂

As the muscles strengthen, there is more stability in the joint, so that can make sense, especially if it’s an injury provoked by twisting.

Sounds good, I'll keep going as much as possible to strengthen the muscles around it until the stability get good. Thank you ☺️
