Transition to Treadmill

I have just bought a treadmill as I have Raynaud syndrome meaning I can’t handle the cold well. So am sadly going to be inside for the colder runs. But I am determined not to lose the ability to run just because of the winter. Any tips to make the transition from road to treadmill a smooth one? Thanks

Great attitude 👍👍👍. I'm thinking of getting a treadmill just because I'm a wimp who doesn't want to go out in the cold dark and wet. 🤒🤧😢

Hi, good plan 🙂. Having just completed my first external run today because I’ve done all on a treadmill, I’d say having something to keep your mind occupied. It wasn’t a problem for me today, scenery, etc, but in the gym on the treadmill I need the tv screens or I’m counting every minute! Good luck, I’m sure you’ll crack with the determination you are showing.

Keep it as familiar as possible... match your outdoor running and walking speeds onto the treadmill and you’ll feel a little more comfortable to begin with.
