Advice needed!

I graduated C25K around Easter time and continued to run 5k, three times a week after that as well as going to the gym at least three times a week. At the end of May I had my appendix removed and then two further abdominal operations. Since then I was told not to exercise due to numerous internal stitches. I am now twelve weeks post surgery and want to get back in to running! Due to such a long recovery where should I start this time? Should I just do the entire C25K programme again?

The thing I’d do is see how long I could run for all slow and steady. That time will feed you into the right week of the plan.

You need to find out how much condition you have lost, as we all do when we have a break.

Just go for a gentle jog and see how your performance matches to C25K weeks.
