I need to banish negativity!

W3R2 today. I start each session thinking l won’t be able to do it. It takes till at least half way before I convince myself I CAN do it and by the end stages, I’m buzzing & wanting to go further / longer. I need to be positive from the start as the mental negativity makes it harder.

It would be nice to switch off the old brain now and again 😊 one of the hardest parts of c25k is dealing with the gremlins. The old you feeling put out that it's being abandoned so it tries to sabotage new you to get to be no 1 again. I think everyone gets this - I had doubts over almost every run up to end of wk 5 then after the longer run something just clicked and I started to realise I can do it - not just a run but the whole thing - I can run.

Just keep telling yourself you can and it's only in your head. I used to tell myself if the legs are still moving brain just shut up for a bit. Lol

Good luck and believe you can - from the moment you leave the house - because if you didn't think you could do it you would still be inside😁

Self-sabotage is a good description! I’m going to try really hard next time to be positive from the start. I CAN DO THIS! Thanks.
