I always find the first 5 minutes a struggle but got into my running and also managed to pick up the pace. I’ve been running a steady 8.30 minutes per km but shaved it down to 8.20 pace and covered 3.42 km today despite the heat!

Hi, it’s fairly common to struggle in the early stages of a run - we all get it from time to time. 😕
As you near the end of C25K it becomes more mental than physical so just slow down if you need to and be confident that you’ll get through it as you’ve followed the programme 🙂👍
