I have been on week 7 for over 3 weeks due to a knee injury. Went out early this morning after a very unsuccessful attempt the other day. Finally I managed to complete my final 25 minute run. Painfully slow, and I really do mean painful but it’s completed none the less. The thought of running for 28 minutes next week is not a pleasant thought at the moment...arghh

Well done...but, if it was painful then you need to know why? If that knee is still playing up, then don't run.
25 minutes of pain is not a great idea...and we do advice never, ever to run through pain.
If you are moving forward to these longer runs, then you want to be able to enjoy them ...
maybe get the knee checked out again?
