I’ve taken twice as long as the programme was designed for to get to this point. As an overweight diabetic 69year old I repeated most weeks on the theory (guess really) that my body might need longer to adjust to the stresses and strains of running than say, someone half my age. I’ve done 6 Parkruns along the way - using the C25k 30+ minutes (for whatever week I was up to) then walking/running a little more to the end. My best time is 38:01 and guess what - didn’t come last!

You could have trusted the programme!

But it all contributes to developing a running habit so it really makes no odds how long it takes to graduate as the idea is that graduation is not an end point.

Of course you didn't come anywhere near last with a PB like that! Very impressive.

BTW there was an M100 entered in the World Masters Orienteering Championships that was taking place this week... and a sprinkling of men and women in the next age group down which is 95 and over.

Well done! Absolutely doesn’t matter how long it takes - and that’s a great parkrun time!
