Just done W6R2 and it went brilliantly. Felt great the whole time, as if I could have kept going forever, and Strava tells me I achieved a personal best both for 1 mile and 2 (despite the fact that for W5R3 I must have been running for a higher proportion of the 2 miles at least).
I'm wondering how big a factor time of day and temperature is. It's a lot cooler than two days ago, and around 6pm before dinner seems to work well for me.
Does anyone else find that at a certain time of day runs go much easier? And if so, how reliable is that!

Heat has a big impact. And not just while running but through the day and night ahead of running.
We all have different rhythms that affect how we perform. I find early morning before work much better than evening or night time. Whether that will be the same in winter!
I’ve found the biggest impact is having a pattern and more or less sticking to it. But that’s just me.
