No running partner so it’s a treadmill day.

Kids all went to bed too late and hubby is away so I ran on my treadmill today. So far having ran for 17.07 non stop covering a mile using a different training schedule I’ve started using the C25k app at week 5 Run 3 so a 20 min non stop run. I usually run on the treadmill at 3.4 mph with it flat but decided to put it on an incline today and slow it down to 3.1 mph and see how I go. It went WELL managed to run the whole 20 mins and still covered a mile. Inwards to week 6.

Hello pigginanna, great job on finishing week 5. Hope you are enjoying c25k. As a mum too I know only too well about trying to find time for us mums and fitting in our runs. Good luck.

Lol I would like to say it’s because my kids are young ones but they’re 16 & 19, one of them usually comes with me when dads away but both were up late watching rubbish on you tube lol. I must say I did enjoy my sleep in this morning as I’m usually up at 6am for work. Only 2 weeks to go the off for the summer hols 🤪
