Week 4 consolidation!

The heat had definitely got to me this week!

Struggled with 2 of my runs and ended up stopping after 22ish minutes. 😕

3rd run was a lot better...got out super early when it was cooler and managed a 5k PB in 31.23! Well chuffed!

So although I didn't do 3x30 min runs this week my pace is slowly improving...looking at the positives! 💪🏃‍♀️👍😎☀️😁

Tentatively thinking about starting a 10k plan soon...maybe 😂

Well done - this is solid stuff, especially in the heat. Don’t beat yourself up about the shorter runs, it all counts.

Thanks Jay! Going to try out the speed and stamina podcasts next week and enter my first parkrun! I know I can do it I just need to be brave and go for it lol.

You’ll love it. The biggest risk is getting carried away by the moment and going off too quickly. Take OldFloss with you and she will whisper “slow and steady” in your ear.

I did the speed podcast today. The music is a bit odd! Well I thought so but it was certainly different from just running for 30 mins. Good luck. Keep on running (but not when it’s too hot!)
