Hi I’m a newbie just thought I’d give this site a try after finishing my couch to 5k v v slowly tho 46.8 mins ....

not sure what I should be doing now as I can’t do a 5k every time I go out .. so was thinking maybe get used to doing 30 mins till that gets less painful n hard ?? Any advice please ?

Also are there any people out there who would like t run together but may be able to put up with someone as slow as me ?

Just take your time and enjoy! There is no need to build distance or time, it is not compulsory, its all for you to decide.

When you are ready to go further, build slowly. But 30 minute runs for a while is a really sensible next step.

Thank you for the advice I will def stick to 30 mins for now as I’m so so slow at only 3.6 k in that amount of time tho can’t go fast as I’m running over tree stumps etc to keep out the sun and hate running along pavement routes :)
