Hi All
Popping up to say hello as recently came across this site and finding it so useful and inspirational. I'm now on Wk7 about to do R3 and wanted to ask those who have switched from a treadmill to road running part-way through (or keep it mixed) how they find it and if there are any good tips I can try to ease the transition.
Having briefly tried road running way back I know it's a whole other ball-game to a treadmill and sooo much harder 🙄
Am managing the 25 min runs in Wk 7 on the treadmill but slightly dreading trying Wk 8 and onwards outside but feel I want to get out there as hoping it'll help me catch the Running Bug (at the mo I run on the treadmill watching something on the TV so not really 'in the moment' but alleviates the tedium).
I have good trainers and the Fitbelt all ready to go (just need to decide between Strave and MapMyRun ....)
Any tips would be much appreciated!
