So this evening I have completed my first run of week 4 and my goodness that was hard. Did anyone else find week 4 a big step up from the previous weeks?
I'm so proud of myself for completing the run but I was genuinely close to tears towards the end and I'm dreading doing it again. I guess I just have to remember how far I've already come and keep my faith it the programme.
Fingers crossed for a better run on Monday π€

Well done for completing the run! Yes, I found that same runs very hard indeed as did several others I have seen on the forum. My top tip (aside from taking it super slow) is to remind yourself that for every second you are running, you make your next run easier.
Most of the struggle at this point is psychological, I found. We feel tired so we think we should stop. But you powered through and did it!!! Personally i crossed the mental barrier in R3 of W4. Believe me, you will get through it too. Just keep going, youβre doing great!!! C
I totally know where your coming from. That dread & anxiety, can I do this one. But I find the thought of it is always so much worse that the actual act. Xxxx
Well done, did W4R2 this morning. I found the mentor coming in saying 1 minute to go didn't help, I'd rather not know, seemed to make it longer somehow.
I know what you mean. That final minute of each 5 minute run seemed to last an eternity. Feeling better this morning though and my legs don't hurt, which I thought they would.
