Not had stomach cramps but did feel slightly queasy after my first 20min run which I did early morning on empty stomach....and the feeling stayed with me all day ...

Maybe you were dehydrated??? Or indigestion..running too soon after eating..I'm not medically trained so these are guesses!

Thanks think it was too much water before I ran. All better now.

Yes, I quite often get stomach cramps after running, or at least I did when I first started running longer distances. I put it down to slight twisting in my stomach area when I run.

It’s got better for me the more I’ve run so hopefully it will for you too 🤞😊

Try a bit more water but not too close to your run, I dehyrdate easily but run in teh evening so make sure I drink as much as possible through teh day and upto about an hour before running so i dont need a wee and have to do a paula radcliffe ;) , its worth a try just in case its something as simple as that.

Stomach cramps - are these:

1 Muscular or

2 Digestive tract - with or without wind or the need to evacuate or

3 Female paraphernalia, like period pains?

1 - try some gentle stretching before and after

2 - trial and error with eating and drinking and toilet visits before running if possible

3 - possibly endometriosis. I suffered terribly in my youth until I had it dealt with surgically. Something to do with shaking all that extra tissue in the wrong places. If running when your period is just approaching is much worse, then this could be it.

Hopefully it is 1 or 2 and more easily managed.
