I overtook two runners for first time today, usually I’m the one overtaken felt like Mo Farrell!

Admittedly they were more focused on their conversation than running but it was still a new milestone.

How wonderful to run along a towpath.

Congratulations to you for overtaking other runners, not a thing I have done yet, they overtake me but if I hear someone behind me I will let them overtake me. I was out running last week when a lady runner overtook me and I 'tried' to go at the same pace that she was going, that didn't last long as she was going at I would think 25minute 5k pace, however, about 10 minutes later on my week 7 second 25 minute run I heard someone else coming up behind me, slowed down and let this man pass me, this time I did manage to keep up with him just about 20 metres behind for the last 10 minutes of my run, but as I say I have not yet passed any runner so far.
