Week 5 Run 3 - Any tips?
I’m not there yet but I’m anticipating grim determination will be a factor!
I approached this one with respect. Slow and steady, my aim was to finish, knowing that I could improve on speed another time. Pick a familiar route and run at your usual time if day.

Slow and steady and trust the app, you can do it, it paces you through it, you’ll be fine.
It is hard but I found that knowing I had to run for 20 minutes quite liberating not having to listen when to walk again and my mind could wander and the time went faster. Still out of puff though and very slow.
I started slow and stayed slow & cut it up into bits in my mind. The conversation with myself went something like...
" I know I can run for 5mins... ok done that, I can do that again... I can manage another 'nother 5 mins (I've just proved to myself twice that I can do that)... I can plod on for another 2 mins... just 2mins more...only 60sec...YES!!! Best ever 5mins cool down - bliss... success... grin like an idiot to horses in field beside me!😃

Definitely download a podcast as you can really get into this without the usual but welcome interruptions. I did mine this morning. You can definitely do it. Just trust the programme and stay slow.
