I am running and walking for the whole session but on wk5R1 and still only managing 2.5 miles, is that normal?
5k: I am running and walking for the whole... - Couch to 5K

That's a lot more than I've been accomplishing! I'm just on the 2.5 mile mark after week 6 run 2. The whole program is designed for 3.1 miles and many don't manage a 5k in 30 minutes anyway as that's a pretty quick time. You're doing great!

I did 3.4km about 2.1miles for that one I'm not sure I did the full cool down but that wouldn't be much more. Even running for the full 30 min most won't get to 5km (3.12 miles) during this program.
It's called couch to 5k but it's really couch to running for 30 min.
I'm already planning for my graduation run to keep going to 5k so I have a benchmark time to work on 😀

Don't get eaten up with doubts and worries about distance. The vast majority of people who finish the programme don't manage a 5K in 30 mins by the end of W9. So you're not alone. Just focus on what you've accomplished.
By the end of the week you'll have run for 20 minutes.
That's a real cause for celebration. Without a doubt the biggest high of the programme for me so far.
Take it one run at a time, don't fret, you're going great
Yes.It is all about you and your journey.Slow and steady and your happy pace which is conversational pace.🌟👏👏
