So this is where the learning starts....

Just completed my first post Grad Stepping Stones podcast - 150 - 155bpm was comfortable .... but i soon realised how much I had NOT been going at a steady pace in my training 😱 160bpm for the last 5mins was a challenge in itself! The Gremlins (bless 'em!) predictably had a go but they didn't win 😊 This is going to be valuable for me in terms of getting some kind of technique going - rather than bumbling around all over the place. Fingers crossed 🤞

Is that one of the other NHS podcasts?

It is Chrisj31 - it's one of the follow on podcasts for new graduates - structured running with music and coaching.

This why the Admin team advise new Grads to consolidate first..the podcasts are so tricky..and you've got it spot on..😉It is all a learning process.

Many folk doing the podcasts don't get that..New disciplines,New challenges...very well done you..they are fun and they are useful.

I did each one 3 times..I love Speed and Stamina and still use them..just you wait😉

I really enjoy these and I must have got my pace quite steady in the last few weeks of c25k as I haven’t found them too different to my normal pace. Start speed today 🤞but having listened to it first think I’ll be ok plus so much shorter! :) Good luck & keep going as I truly believe it is all a mind game at this stage as your body can definitely do it. Although obviously if anything starts hurting listen to your body too - so far I’ve not had any issues pain wise hopefully remains that way, but I think a steady pace probably helps with that too. #happyrunning
