Some dynamic excercises indoors to start warming up, then warm up walk, you can always lengthen the warmup if you need more warmup, some need more warmup time, I do. Don't stretch before running, only stretch after the runs when muscles are warm & supple..

Cool down walk, just keep moving afterwards, whatever you do don't go and sit down immediately afterwards or you will stiffen up..

Woo hoooooo!

Keep it slow. Then slow down a bit more. Many have been lost when they try and sprint off too fast. Slow and steady wins the day.
