I’m on week 5 and really struggling, my legs feel fine but I get stitch so quickly on every run and can’t get through it. Any tips for avoiding stitch??

Are you running too soon after eating?
Are you running on empty?
Are you running hills?
Are you trying to run too quickly?
I have suffered quite a bit with stitch and it seemed random, but the more I checked for reasons, the above are what I came up with as possibilities
Running up and down hills can cause you to stretch left and right. Try and steer a steady course, going forward
If you do get stitch. Stop. Bend down and slowly touch your toes. Come slowly back up and reach for the heavens with both arms up. Reach a bit higher still, with both feet on the ground Then with arms still raised lean over into the stitch, starting with your painful side. Do a few side stretches, come back to centre and repeat on the other side. Then run on. Slow down
If your body is slumping because of fatigue, try and haul yourself upright and run tall, looking ahead
Hopefully that will sort it 😃👍
