Just seen week 5 day 3, 20 minute run! I am going away for 5 days so would have a big gap to this run, should I repeat a day 2 on my first run back? Bit scared running for 20 minutes and not building up to it. X

Can you not do the run while you are away? If not then five days shouldn't make that much difference and the rest might do you good! See how you feel. If you feel ok then try the biggie, if not then it won't do any harm in going back a run.

Sorry that was a very unhelpful reply 😏 Listen to your body and you won't go far wrong.

I had that kind of gap before run3 and for me it was ok and probably benefited from the break. I did have 2 go's at it but don't think that was anything to do with the break. Well done on your progress and all the best for run3.

5 days off is not a big deal, in fact you will probably be very nicely rested to tackle the ‘biggie’. The main thing is if that is what you decide to do, take it really slowly and if the sh. hits the fan and you can’t manage the full 20mins, then it’s no big deal, you’ve put another run in your running bank.

Have a lovely break and a lovely run

Thanks everyone, think I will risk it and go for it. I haven’t yet quit on a run and didn’t want it to ruin my enthusiasm for the programme. X
