Hi I’m Debbie and I have just started couch 2 5k. I’m a complete novice to running and am using a treadmill. Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated 😁

Hey there, welcome to the forum. My advice would be to take it slowly, have self-believe and a routine where possible. Good luck.

Welcome to couch to 5k! I have just finished wk6 and until a week ago was still really struggling with breathing. I recommend looking at Matt Cama YouTube for breathing techniques and Niko niko slow jogging YouTube for endurance. I have really turned a corner by adopting some of these methods. Obviously you will find your own way but information is power!! Good luck.

Best of luck, you'll progress before you know it! Use a bit of incline on treadmill, I actually find it easier shuffling over the pavements than pounding the treadmill in the gym but we are all different. Any questions ask here, everyone is so helpful. This Forum could run the country!
